I just read an article that described a study in which dancing movements were analyzed to see which ones appealed most to women. Big surprise (not), the “I don’t want to be here” posture was not appealing.

I would add that partner dancing is especially attractive to women, for a number of reasons. Let me count some ways:

1) She is literally in your arms.
2) Others can see her in your arms, aka, others can see she is loved.
3) It takes time to learn. Women appreciate that.
4) She can’t be mad at you if you’re dancing.
5) Dancing is all wrapped up with romance and a big evening out, and women love that. In fact, if you go dancing that’s often all you have to come up with.
6) Have you heard the expression “dancing is the vertical expression of a horizontal wish?” ‘nuff said.

Some other reasons just for you:

1) You get to lead.
2) You can demonstrate how creative you can be.
3) On the dance floor you can do anything you want and no one will call you girly.
4) Ditto clothing.
5) If you are partnered see list above. If you are single, also check the list, and know there are many more single women at dance venues than men.

Males dancing is NOT is girly. This is a very Westernized notion. Ask a Latin man sometime if dancing is “girly,” and you’d better stand back.

Latin men know dancing is not only manly, but very, I repeat, VERY attractive to women. It’s a natural thing guys….most males in the animal kingdom do it to impress a mate. So throw those feathers around or take some lessons. You won’t be sorry.
